About Elias
Born in Cannes, France, to a Dutch mother and Finnish father, Elias picked up a golf club before he could even walk, practicing in his parents’ living room while watching his idols on TV.
By the age of 4, after moving to Finland, he was already playing on full courses and had achieved a handicap of 54.
Elias quickly fell in love with competitive golf, taking part in junior tournaments across Finland and the Netherlands.
He won multiple tournaments at a young age in Finland and in the Netherlands, establishing himself as a promising young talent in both countries, while also joining a coaching program at Helsingin Golfklubi to further refine his skills.
In 2014 he moved to the Netherlands to maximize winter golfing, continue participating in junior competitions and played for club competition teams including Rijk van Sybrook (2015-2017), Twentsche Golfclub (2018–2020) and The Duke Club (2024–present).
In 2023 Elias joined GolfTON at Eindhovensche Golf, a program guiding Dutch talents toward their dream of becoming professional golfers.
